British spelling of the word "aerie," which means an eagle's nest.

pg. 337 — marmot
A rodent found primarily in North America and Eurasia. They are quite large (6-15 pounds) and are covered in fur with a bushy tail. Marmots prefer open plains such as meadows, steppes, and tundra. They have been described as giant squirrels.
