Backwards spelling of Lenin, the last name of Vladimir Lenin (1870-1924). Lenin was a Russian revolutionary and creator of the Bolshevik party within Russia, otherwise known as the first Soviet state.
pg. 33 — Kamenev and Zinoviev
Two Bolshevik revolutionaries, Lev Kamenev (1883-1936) and Grigory Zinoviev (1883-1936), that were once figures of power within Soviet Russia. However, after the rise of Joseph Stalin, they were viewed as negative symbols of discontent towards the Soviet state. Eventually, they were both executed in a show trial during the Great Purges.

Someone who supports the ideals of Trotskyism, the political branch of thought stemming from Marxism. The founder of this movement, Leon Trotsky, was expelled from the Soviet Union after Stalin came into power.

This term originated in the Soviet Union to refer to workers who were based upon a model Soviet citizen. Alexey Stakhanov was the poster-figure for this movement, through the ideals of hard work and strengthening the Soviet state.
